Hi, my name is Josh, born and bred in East Yorkshire, England, GB. For the last 10yrs I have served with the military, both the Royal Navy and now currently RAF, in a multitude of roles. I have seen and experienced first hand the pressures on mental health that can be/are associated with life in the Forces. Veteran suicide is at an all time high within the UK and US veteran community, and last year I lost a Naval Commrade of mine to his own hand. This is my first DGR event, and by extension the first mental health awareness event I have taken part in. I look forward to riding with you all on the 19th May, I'll be the chap in the blue suit on the red Speed Triple, so come and say hi!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 29th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
