Riding for my mental health
Monday 1st Apr 2024THE DGR LEEDS
Returning to ride for myself and for my friends who are Autism Dads.
I have a small group of friends (50yrs and over now) who I see on rare occasions as we are all bikers dad with Autistic children & young Adults, mainly dads with children that have high support needs.
Some of us have now been diagnosed with diabetes, some diagnosed with cancer (and still going through it) but all of us need a bit of freedom and space to ride our bikes, not to neglect our family time but to have those moments that take us back to being kids again, out on our bikes free to enjoy the moment like our own kids.
So if your are reading this, enjoy every moment on the bike, time goes fast, faster than you every think possible and these moment count.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Monday 1st Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives. My Sponsors
