What a good day!

Monday 20th May 2024

Well done to the organisers of this year's Oxford ride, after a rather chilly start the weather warmed up nicely and we were bathed in warm sunshine pretty much all day. The half way meet up point at Radcliffe square was a great place with lots of tourists, students as well as the Oxford folk asking why were are dressed they way we were. Defintely a good platform to promote the causes. The end party was also great, good food, a decent bar and a great little band! Roll on next year!

Although my main interest with DGR is its involvement with prostate cancer; I am becoming increasingly aware of the situation regarding men's mental health, particularly since post covid restrictions. Because of this I am looking to raise awareness as well as money to try and help out hopefully. 

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 26th Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
