Stepping out into the great unknown

This coming TDGR will be my very first group ride ever. I have been a motorbike lover since I was just a kid and started riding dirt bikes at a young age. As I became older my priorities changed for riding bikes to going out and getting drunk with my friends, so as this became my priority. I sold my bike to fund "the party life" now that I have out grown the party life just a little I thought it was time to get back into riding this brought me to a little Sol Invictus on facebook market place, I fell in love with the cafe racer style of the bike and the price point but you should never judge a book by its cover. With in a week of ownership I started having electrical issues and side covers ratteling loose mid ride but hey I guess thats just bikes. After spending some time working on my bike and loosing skin of my knuckles it is now in good enough condition. I feel that it is now time for me to take the leap into the bike culture and hopfully meet some like minded people and experiance the culture. TDGR is a great oppertunity to get out and see some great bikes and some dapper looking gentelmen all while helping a good cause I hope I can help make a differance for mens health.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 7th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
