I'm a comedian/bartender/environmentalist born and raised in Colorado Springs. I lost my dad, a motorcycle enthusiast/handyman/mountain extraordinaire to mental health a few years back.

He left me with his 1969 Triumph and that's been perfectly stored in my basement for as long as I can remember (to my mother's decorative dismay), as well as his Harley Softail. He was always obsessed with his motorcycles, and every year on his birthday, he would go out and ride the entire day. Sometimes he'd take me with him and I instantly knew exactly why it was his favorite thing to do; the freedom of being on the open road with an impeccable view of the rocky mountains, the nostalgia of when he was young and riding with friends, and the feeling of spending an entire afternoon just enjoying the present moment at your own pace. It's pure magic. 

Last year, my friend David and I rode on my dad's Harley in the DGR, as I still had not learned how to ride yet. I was so inspired by the sheer number of riders as well as those who had struggled with mental health themselves, that I immediately got my license and bought my own Triumph. Riding it is a way to feel connected to my dad and to honor the way he liked to spend his time. This year, I'm participating in the DGR, this time on my own bike(!!!!) because it's a great way to support men's health. Consider donating and supporting me for a good cause!!! 

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 11th May 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
