This years ride so happens to fall on a significant date for me and my family. It just so happens to be the birthday of my late father who passed in 2016. Sadly he was plagued by ill health in his later years and is a reminder for me and my family about the importance of maintaining your health throughout your life, eg watching what you eat & drink, doing some exercise and not putting off going to see your GP. So thoughts for the day will be remembering loved ones that are no longer with us and doing something that my father would definitely have approved of, afterall he's the one that passed on my love of motorcycling.

 

On a happier note, it also happens to my be my eldest daughter Megan's 30th birthday today 🎉🎉

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 15th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
