The old girl has just been out for a quick ride for fuel and tyre checks, and now back in the garage after a dry wash and polish.

Trousers and shirt ironed, waistcoat and jacket steamed and aired, brogues cleaned and now all ready to go.

Just need to wake up refreshed after the boxing, get ready and make my way to Pidcock Triumph for the event and meet some new like minded dapper dressed bike riding folk for this year's DGR.

Only 4 sleeps to go until my first DGR and looking forward to the day.

First time registered and taking part in the DGR, so I am really looking forward to the ride, the day out and the craic with other like minded bike riding folk and all for such a good cause.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Wednesday 27th Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
