Ready for this year's ride!!

First, I want to thank all of my generous sponsors again !!   I realize that I have told you all before, but.... I know from personal experience that these sponsorship dollars work.

Second, I do have "Dusty" all ready to go for the full ride this year.  Last year she let me down just before the halfway stop and I had to limp her all the way home.  To her credit, we actually did make it on our own (after the two jump starts by the Indy Triumph support folks).   But, that was last year....  

Third, here's looking forward to some great weather and a great Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on the 19th !!

Hello all,

Last year (2023) I didn't ask for many sponsorships since everyone was so extremely generous the previous year (2022).   I guess that was kind of a good thing, at least for me, since I only made it thru half of last year's ride.  My bike up and died. I had only owned it for 4 months and had completely "restyled" it during that time.   Thanks to fellow TBF team member Just Lou and the folks from Indy Triumph who jump started my bike, twice, and I was able to ride all the way home.  After subsequent troubleshooting, I found the problem.... the voltage regulator was no longer "regulating"....  so, I fixed that and she's been fine ever since.

I am really looking forward to redeeming myself in this year's ride and providing full representation to all my sponsors!!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Thursday 21st Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
