David passed today at 78 from Prostate Cancer.  It touches us all.  

Prostatectomy!

Wednesday 15th May 2024

May 12th marked the anniversary of my radical prostatectomy.  This is Dr. William Ellis at UW Urology Center who expertly and successfully completed the procedure.  He is The Shit!!  PSA was only 4.8, which isn't much out of the 4.0 range.  But my GP found a firm spot during a digital (yes, that digital) exam.  A needle biopsy showed cancer in 10 of 12 samples.  So, there you go!  At 60, I opted for the radical prostatectomy which was the best option for me.  Amazingly terrific experience and result!  

So, this ride honors Dr. Ellis and all the other health care professionals who give us life!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 30th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
