Why I ride

I have lost two men to suicide and know countless others who took their lives because of their demons. I, myself, have struggled with my demons, one that I fight almost every day, and there are days when it will drive me close to that ledge.

Riding is one of the few things that saved my life. When I'm riding, I feel free; my past and future don't matter, only the present. No demon haunts me when I'm on that bike.

On Sunday, May 19, I will dress up and ride, wishing my friends who have taken their lives were there. Whether you donate or not, I hope you reach out to talk to someone about your demon. You are not alone; I will sit with you through the dark til daylight because you matter. After all, I'd have done that to the two men I lost to suicide if it meant it would keep them alive.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 25th Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
