Yes I have increased my target, I reached my original amount just before today's ride, so I have increased the amount as I would love to beat my previous highest total,

The DGR 2024 is done and dusted. Had a wonderful ride, firstly meeting up with my riding team at the Newton workshop,  then off to join the other riders at South Everleigh. Then the ride started, across Anzac Bridge around the 'bay run' back across the bridge and though the city, then back to South Everleigh. Was such a beautiful day 

My Prostate Cancer Story

Eleven years ago, after a general health check including a PSA test, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, a big shock as I had never had any symptoms.

Within the next few months my prostate was removed and while recovering from my surgery I read a story about group of motorcyclists raising funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

It was the second year of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride and it was organised for the first weekend I was allowed to start riding after the surgery.

So I signed on and started my DGR journey, riding and raising funds to support Prostate Cancer research and Men's Mental Health. 

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 23rd Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
