We all know someone who has suffered or passed from prostate cancer. Live long enough and you'll know someone who died from suicide. These things are devastating to families, friends and communities, and the sad part is that so many of these woiuld be preventable IF WE KNEW IN TIME. This is where the DGR helps. Awareness and testing and support are paramount, and Movember is dedicated to delivering better results and outcomes for these issues.That's why every year DGR is one of the fixed items in the calendar, its a way my friends and supporters can help. We ride for that reason, we fundraise for that reason, and we belong to motorcycle groups that care for that reason. We are learning to talk to each other. So much better than our parents generation, we now open up better than we did. It is due to the global input both financially and emotionally that we come together to grow that help rate and to offer positive responses to those who need it. I'd like to say to my sponsors that every cent you have contributed has helped to change this story from one of hopelessness and misery, to early detection and genuine empathy and concern and a listening ear when we need it. I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Wednesday 26th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
