EVMoto's Electrifying Debut at the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride

Our EVMoto team had an unforgettable experience participating in our very first Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride (DGR) this year!

The event was a tremendous success, as we rode with pride and purpose, raising over $2600 for men’s health issues, including prostate cancer and mental health support.

### Fundraising Success: Over $2600 Raised! Thanks to the incredible support from our community, friends, and family, we surpassed our fundraising goal. Each donation made a meaningful impact, contributing to vital research and support for men’s health initiatives.

### Building Bonds with Fellow Riders The ride was an excellent opportunity to meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts who share our passion. We connected with a diverse group of riders, each bringing their unique stories and energy to the event. The camaraderie and sense of community were truly inspiring.

### Parading Down Rodeo Drive One of the most exhilarating moments was our parade down the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA. Known for its luxury and glamour, Rodeo Drive provided a spectacular backdrop for our electric motorcycles. Riding through one of the world’s most famous streets was a surreal and unforgettable experience.

### Rocking Out with Ricky Rocket and #RocketMafia The afternoon culminated in an electrifying concert featuring LA’s very own Ricky Rocket and his #RocketMafia band. They rocked the crowd with a mix of original songs and classic rock hits, adding a thrilling end to an already amazing day. The music brought everyone together, celebrating our collective efforts and the success of the ride.

### Looking Ahead to Next Year Our debut at the DGR was a remarkable success, and we’re already planning for an even bigger and better event next year. We aim to rally more riders, raise more funds, and spread greater awareness for the cause. The EVMoto riding community is growing, and we’re excited for what’s to come.

Tomorrow is the big day! Get your electrons ON! Get your Sunday's best attire ready to ride for a great cause!

Back a few weeks ago a dear friend asked if we could put a small group EV riders for the DGR. He also invite me to an event held by movember https://us.movember.com/ where we talked about mens health and issues related to our own personal lifes. 

I accepted the challenge and the support was way more than what I was expecting.

1. As of 5/1/2024 we have raised US$2608 between North American and European riders in our TEAM, and yes we have international riders amongs us ridign for team EVMoto. Our original intent was to raise in our innaugural ride $3,000, but later raised it to $10,000, this is way past my wildest spectations as the 1st EVMoto group out of the City of Anges and internationally.

2. This leads me send a BIG shoud out to Dirk W. riding out of Europe on his Energica Electric Stallion.

 

3. Please log into your DGR dash board and check the ride details which is breaking down the ride's time line and address locations. 

 

4. We are still meeting at Bartel's Harley Davidson to charge up meet eachother and enjoy the company of our hosts.  Kickstands up at 10:00AM. The ride from Bartel's to the DGR starting line is about 15-20 mins on PCH. After that we leave Santa Monica at 13:00 to do the (2) regroup points in LA and BH. After thar the ride finished back in SM ar 14:30.

Don your most dapper attire and saddle up for a day of distinguished riding in support of a good cause.

Riding with Purpose: EVMoto’s Inaugural Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

We at EVMoto are thrilled to share our journey participating in the esteemed Distinguished Gentleman's Ride for the very first time. This year marked a special milestone as we formed our inaugural team, dedicated to supporting this noble cause. With great enthusiasm and a shared passion for motorcycles, we embarked on a mission to raise funds and awareness for men's health on a global scale.

As enthusiasts of both classic motorcycles and charitable endeavors, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride resonated deeply with our team. The opportunity to don our finest attire and ride in solidarity with riders around the world, all in support of men's mental health and prostate cancer research, was one we couldn't pass up.

From the moment we announced our participation, the support poured in from friends, family, fellow riders, and our wider community. Through various fundraising efforts, including social media campaigns, local events, and personal outreach, we rallied together to make a meaningful impact.

We are immensely proud to announce that thanks to the generosity and kindness of our supporters, EVMoto has raised over $2000 towards the charitable cause. Every dollar contributed brings us closer to funding vital research, raising awareness, and ultimately, saving lives.

But our journey doesn't end with the fundraising total. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is about more than just the dollars raised; it's about camaraderie, solidarity, and making a tangible difference in the world. As we donned our dapper attire and rode through the streets with fellow gentlemen and gentlewomen, we felt a sense of purpose and pride knowing that we were part of something much larger than ourselves.

As we reflect on our inaugural ride, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who supported us along the way. To our donors, sponsors, fellow riders, and the organizers of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Together, we have proven that the motorcycle community has the power to effect positive change in the world.

Looking ahead, we are already planning for next year's ride, eager to continue our support for men's health and to further strengthen the bonds within our team and community. With each mile ridden and each dollar raised, we reaffirm our commitment to making a difference and riding with purpose.

One Week we hit $2K Raised by EVMoto guys and Gals in LA!

Just one week left until the highly anticipated May 19, 2024 Los Angeles Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride! Make sure you're all set by registering for the LA ride if you haven't already. Registration is mandatory and secures your entry into the fantastic prize draws scheduled after the ride.

Join us at Bartels' Harley-Davidson at 9 am for a pre-ride rendezvous to energize up the bikes before cruising over to the starting line in Santa Monica for orientation.

We've crafted an unforgettable day, complete with thrilling prizes and live entertainment. The start and finish point (to be revealed a few days before the ride, and even sooner for our top 50 fundraisers) will be in Santa Monica, with riders expected to arrive between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm.

Punctuality is key as our safety briefing kicks off promptly at 1:00 pm, followed by the ride itself.

Time seems to be slipping through our fingers faster than we can grasp, doesn't it? It's as if we're hurtling through the sky at 1,000 feet per hour, courtesy of the Earth's relentless rotation. Yet, amidst this whirlwind, we find ourselves off to an exhilarating start!

I'm thrilled to announce that we've upped the ante on our team goal, setting our sights on a lofty $10,000. Some might call it ambitious, but as my wise father once advised, it's better to aim for the sun. Even if we fall short, we'll still soar above and beyond any other expectations.

I extend a heartfelt thank you to the newest members of the DGR EVMoto team. Your decision to join us on the morning of Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Bartels HD in Marina Del Rey, CA, fills me with immense gratitude. Together, we're forging history as we assemble what could very well be the most epic EVMoto DGR group Los Angeles, and perhaps the world, has ever seen!

🎉 Join the First-Ever EVMoto Group Ride for a Cause! 🏍️

Fellow EVRiders,

Just this week, I took a leap and registered for the www.gentlemensride.com, making a small donation to support a worthy cause. Alongside a friend, we pondered: "Has there ever been an EVMoto Team for this event?" Surprisingly, I discovered there hadn't been one. This realization ignited a spark within me to initiate a group ride specifically for EVMoto enthusiasts.

As I shared this idea with others in the EVMoto community, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Together, we've formed an EVMoto group that has already raised $1,500 (at the time of writing this post) in support of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR).

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for joining this ride and becoming part of this groundbreaking EVMoto group.

For those unfamiliar, the DGR is a prestigious event that raises awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health initiatives globally. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference in someone's life somewhere in the world.

If you've registered, expect an email 24-48 hours before the ride with detailed information about the meeting point and time.

Our plan is to convene 1-2 hours before the ride's start at Bartel's Harley Davidson (4141 Lincoln Blvd Marina Del Rey, CA) to fuel up our bikes and enjoy some coffee and doughnuts together. From there, we'll head to the starting line as a group, ensuring we arrive together at the DGR. The ride typically spans 20-30 miles and will occupy most of the day. Rest assured, it's a special event complete with police escorts and all necessary safety measures to safeguard our group.

Once the ride concludes, you're free to depart or stick around for the prize announcements and a chance to win a new bike (for those who've raised $3,000 or more).

I eagerly anticipate seeing you all there and encourage you to share the event link with non-riders or those unable to attend—every dollar counts toward our cause.

Sunday 21st On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, we are teaming up to ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before we press our tweed and polish our boots, we are asking you to join us in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
