Guard Your Heart

I participating in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride not just to look dapper on my motorcycle, but more importantly, to raise awareness for a cause that is close to my heart - men's mental health. We all know men in our lives - fathers, brothers, coworkers, friends - who struggle with mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and suicide risk. For too long, there has been a stigma around men opening up and seeking help for their mental wellbeing.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:23, "Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." Our hearts and minds as men need tending to. By riding today, I want to start breaking down barriers and show that it's okay for men to prioritize their mental health. The funds raised will support organizations providing mental health services and suicide prevention programs specifically for men. I ride for all the men who feel they can't speak up, and to let them know their community cares about them. A small ride can make a big impact in giving men the support and resources they need to guard their hearts and minds. Join me in starting these important conversations.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 4th May 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
